The Golden State Warriors secured their second title in three years after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-1 in the finals last month.
The Dubs confirmed their dominance by going an astonishing 16-1 throughout the playoffs and obliterated every opponent that stood in their way.
The addition of Kevin Durant last summer almost guaranteed the Warriors another championship as he joined a star-studded roster featuring two-time MVP Stephen Curry and All-Stars Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.
The Bay Area franchise also ended the regular season 67-15, a year after they'd beaten the Bulls' record by winning 73 games.
They have become a formidable force and one of the best teams in NBA history, but according to Green, there's still more to come.
The power forward, who is currently on vacation in the U.K., told the BBC: "I know we can and will get better. You have not seen the best of this team yet."
It's difficult to see where the Warriors can get better, apart from maybe beating their own regular season record and going one better than the last campaign by achieving a perfect 16-0 in the playoffs.
A team of this calibre can set itself goals of this nature but on the floor, they're as close to perfection as you'll ever see.
They're currently way ahead of the pack and it's down to the rest of the league to catch up and pose a threat to them.
One team certainly looking to do that is the Houston Rockets, who have acquired All-Star point guard Chris Paul and will pair him in a tantalising backcourt with James Harden.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have also made one of the biggest moves of the summer by landing Paul George from the Indiana Pacers.
Despite these eye-catching moves, Draymond doesn't think anything will change next year.
"I still do not think there is anyone in the league that can beat us," he said.
The 27-year-old also believes that the Warriors' dominance is having a good effect on the league as it's making their rivals take action.
"What it is doing is forcing the other teams to get better, and that is great for the NBA," he said.
If the Oakland-based outfit does get better next year it'll be a scary prospect for the other 29 teams but it's good to see some franchises willing to take on the challenge.
The latest in Jack Wilshere’s wretched list of injuries was a hairline fracture to his left fibula, suffered in Bournemouth’s 4-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in April. It ended the 25-year-old’s season and prevented him from joining his Arsenal teammates on their pre-season tours of Australia and China. Wilshere’s latest setback even led to Arsene Wenger expressing his sorrow for the player once dubbed ‘the future of England’ by Xavi. “I’m sad about this injury because Jack is a great player with a great football brain,” Wenger said, per The Guardian. “His career has been stopped by many injuries. At the top level the most important thing is consistency. When a player has been out for a while, the game is of such an intensity that it always takes you a while to get your confidence back. “You have to be consistently present. When you look at all the players who are at the top level in the world like Cristiano Ronaldo, these guys play 50 or 60 games a year. They have the luck of not ...

It’s always interesting to see which players have been left out of their respective club’s pre-season tour. Of course, there can be several reasons for their absence such as being given an extended break due to them playing in a summer tournament or the simple fact that they’re injured. However, whenever a player is left out of a pre-season tour, fans instantly fear that it’s because of an impending transfer. So, when Chelsea named their squad for their trip to Beijing, there must have been a few worried supporters. As expected, Diego Costa and Nemanja Matic have been left out as they attempt to negotiate a move away from the club. Meanwhile, new signings Tiemoue Bakayoko and Antonio Rudiger will also be absent. Bakayoko has arrived with a minor knee injury and hasn’t been able to train so far. As for Rudiger, he has been granted an extended break having helped win the Confederations Cup for Germany. The defender will join up with the squad in Singapore next week. But there’s another p...
